Hayk Oganyan was not only a beloved son and a friend to many, but also a Glendale Armenian Athletic Association “Homenmen” basketball player, committee member, organizer, and a member of the Armenian Gaidz Youth Organization. He had voluntarily helped and devoted his time to achieve success of various Armenian American community events in Southern California.

In memory of our good friend, a fundraiser will be held at the Pasadena Homenmen Center to raise money for the Hayk Oganyan Charity.

The Hayk Oganyan Charity was founded by Hayk's mother to fight gang violence and provide scholarships to Armenian students.
